Local CDL A Company Driver

HandledNow is hiring Local CDL A Company Drivers in Indianapolis to support regional transportation and warehousing operations. In this role, you'll complete local pickup and delivery routes, safely operate CDL A equipment, and handle freight with care and accuracy. Drivers perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, follow DOT and FMCSA regulations, and keep precise logs and delivery records. You'll work closely with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers, representing HandledNow's culture of reliability, safety, and accountability while contributing to efficient, on-time freight movement and long-term growth in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Operate local CDL A tractor-trailers for pickup and delivery within assigned region
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload freight per company and DOT standards
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and hours-of-service rules
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and electronic records
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff
• Adhere to on-time delivery schedules and routing instructions
• Support basic freight handling in yards and warehouse as needed
• Report incidents, delays, and safety concerns promptly to supervision
• Represent Handled
