PT Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a PT Senior Sales Associate to support customers in our retail store, helping students, parents, and educators find the right band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. In this student-focused, service-driven role, you'll provide expert product recommendations, process sales and rentals, support lesson enrollment, and help maintain attractive, organized displays. You'll collaborate with a friendly, inclusive team, engage with local schools and musicians, and grow your product knowledge and sales skills in a mission-driven, music education-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative sales support for instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Assist students, parents, and educators in selecting appropriate products and services
• Process sales, rentals, returns, and lesson enrollments accurately in POS systems
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing merchandise displays
• Support inventory management, including restocking and tagging merchandise
• Educate customers on rental programs, repair services, and lesson offerings
• Build relationships with local schools, students, and community musicians
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales and service goals
• Handle customer inquiries, issues, and exchanges with professionalism
• Collaborate with team members to support store events and promotions
