Trumpet Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a Trumpet Teacher for our retail lesson studio. In this role, you will provide high-quality private and small-group trumpet instruction to students of all ages and skill levels, preparing engaging lesson plans that build strong fundamentals, technique, and musicality. You will assess student progress, communicate with parents and school directors, and help select appropriate instruments, accessories, and music. You'll collaborate with store staff, support recitals and events, and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment aligned with our mission to grow music education.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and small-group trumpet lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and follow structured lesson plans focused on technique, tone, and musicality
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual learning goals
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school directors about student progress
• Advise students and families on instrument, accessory, and sheet music selection
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance records, and lesson notes
• Collaborate with store staff to support educational events and studio growth
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Uphold Music & Arts' standards for professionalism, customer service, and safety
