Brass Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a Brass Music Teacher for our retail lesson program. In this role, you'll provide private and group brass instruction (trumpet, trombone, etc.) to students of all ages and levels, focusing on proper technique, music reading, and performance skills. You will create lesson plans, track student progress, and prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances. Collaborating with store staff and school service reps, you'll support a student-focused, community-driven environment while promoting rentals, accessories, and repair services to meet educational and performance needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group brass lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans focusing on technique, music reading, and performance
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school or community performances
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Collaborate with store staff and school service representatives to support music education
• Recommend appropriate instruments, accessories, and repairs to support student success
• Manage scheduling, attendance, and basic lesson administration tasks
• Promote studio and recital opportunities to encourage student engagement
• Uphold Music & Arts' student-focused and service-driven culture
