Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and small group lessons in our retail store. In this role, you'll teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create engaging lesson plans, prepare students for performances and school programs, and track progress toward musical and educational goals. You'll collaborate with store staff, support rental and accessory recommendations, and promote recitals and events. Responsibilities

• Provide private and small group music lessons to students of various ages and levels
• Develop and adapt lesson plans aligned with student goals and school programs
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school ensemble performances
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson scheduling and studio utilization
• Recommend instruments, accessories, and materials to support student learning
• Participate in recitals, events, and community outreach activities
• Maintain accurate attendance and lesson records
