PT Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a part-time Senior Sales Associate to support students, parents, and educators in our retail store. In this role, you'll provide expert guidance on band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons, while delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include driving sales, maintaining merchandising standards, processing rentals and repairs, and supporting local school music programs. You'll collaborate with a passionate, education-focused team and have opportunities to grow your product knowledge and retail skills in a mission-driven, performance-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable in-store sales support for instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Deliver exceptional customer service to students, parents, and educators
• Process instrument rentals, returns, and basic repair intake
• Maintain merchandising, stock levels, and a clean, organized sales floor
• Support local school music programs through outreach and service
• Meet or exceed personal and store sales goals
• Use POS systems to complete sales and rental transactions accurately
• Educate customers on product features, pricing, and financing or rental options
• Coordinate with lesson staff to enroll students in private lessons
• Collaborate with team members to improve store performance and customer experience
