Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high quality lessons in our retail store. You'll teach private and small group lessons to students of all ages, focusing on band and orchestra instruments, fundamentals, and performance skills. Collaborate with store staff and school service reps to support rentals, accessories, and recital events. Track student progress, communicate with parents, and maintain a positive, inclusive studio environment. This role combines music education with retail teamwork in a mission driven, student focused culture that values community, service, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and small group music lessons to students of varying ages and levels
• Teach fundamentals, technique, and performance skills on band and orchestra instruments
• Develop lesson plans and track student progress toward learning goals
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development
• Coordinate with store staff on scheduling, rentals, and accessories needs
• Support recitals and in store educational events
• Maintain a professional, inclusive, and motivational learning environment
• Uphold Music & Arts policies, standards, and safety practices
