PT Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a Part-Time Senior Sales Associate to support customers in our retail store, specializing in band and orchestra instruments, rentals, and lessons. You'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting instruments, accessories, and repair services, process rentals and sales, and promote private lessons. Responsibilities include outstanding customer service, maintaining product displays, meeting sales goals, and supporting community and school events. This role is ideal for someone with retail or music sales experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for music education and student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional in-store customer service to students, parents, and educators
• Advise customers on instrument, accessory, rental, and lesson options
• Process sales, rentals, returns, and lesson enrollments accurately
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals
• Maintain organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing merchandise displays
• Support community and school outreach events as needed
• Coordinate with lesson staff and repair services to meet customer needs
• Use POS and basic computer systems for transactions and customer records
• Educate customers on care, maintenance, and repair options for instruments
• Collaborate with team members to uphold a student-focused, inclusive culture
