Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and group lessons in our busy retail store. Responsibilities

• Provide private and small-group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans aligned with student goals and school requirements
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and school ensemble participation
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• Collaborate with store staff to support instrument rentals, sales, and accessories for students
• Maintain accurate student schedules, attendance, and progress records
• Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Incorporate proper technique, music theory, and musicianship into lessons
• Recommend appropriate instruments, supplies, and repertoire to support learning
• Participate in store events, recitals, and community outreach activities as needed
