Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a part-time Senior Sales Associate to support our student-focused retail store. In this role, you'll guide customers in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, repairs, and accessories, while promoting private lesson programs and school services. You'll provide expert product knowledge, meet sales goals, manage POS transactions, maintain merchandising standards, and support inventory and rental processing. You will collaborate with educators, students, and parents, ensuring exceptional service in a friendly, inclusive, performance oriented environment that supports music education.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on band and orchestra instruments, rentals, and accessories
• Promote private lessons and school service programs to students, parents, and educators
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals
• Process sales, rentals, and returns using POS systems accurately
• Support inventory management, tagging, and stock replenishment
• Maintain merchandising standards and a clean, organized sales floor
• Coordinate with repair services and lesson scheduling as needed
• Build relationships with local schools, directors, and community partners
• Handle customer issues professionally to ensure satisfaction
• Collaborate with team members to support store events and programs
