Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and small group lessons at Store 2551. In this on-site role, you will teach students of all ages and skill levels, design engaging lesson plans, and help prepare students for performances and school programs. You'll collaborate with store staff to grow lesson enrollment, recommend instruments and accessories, and support a student-focused, inclusive environment. This position is ideal for musicians who love teaching and want to contribute to Music & Arts' mission of expanding access to quality music education in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and follow lesson plans aligned with student goals and store curriculum
• Prepare students for performances, auditions, and school programs
• Collaborate with store sales staff to support lesson enrollment and student retention
• Maintain accurate student progress notes, schedules, and attendance records
• Recommend instruments, accessories, and learning materials to support student success
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress
• Participate in recitals, events, and community outreach as needed
• Support Music & Arts' mission of expanding access to quality music education
