Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons in our retail store. In this role, you'll teach beginner to advanced students, customize lesson plans, and prepare students for performances and school programs. You'll collaborate with store staff to support rentals, sales, and recitals while maintaining accurate schedules and lesson records. Ideal candidates have strong performance and teaching skills, experience working with youth, and a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and achievement oriented learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet student goals and school performance needs
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school band/orchestra requirements
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance records, and progress notes
• Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, instrument sales, and accessories recommendations
• Communicate regularly with parents, students, and school educators about progress
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Assist with in store events, recitals, and community outreach programs
