Insurance Producer

Horace Mann seeks an Insurance Producer in Lafayette, LA to provide auto, home, life, and supplemental insurance solutions to K-12 educators and school employees. In this role, you'll prospect and develop new business, conduct needs-based financial and insurance reviews, and present customized coverage options. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with school partners, deliver exceptional customer service, and support retention efforts. Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new insurance business within the K-12 education community
• Conduct needs-based insurance and financial reviews with educators and school employees
• Recommend and present auto, home, life, supplemental, and retirement solutions
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with school partners and clients
• Manage a sales pipeline, track activities, and meet or exceed production goals
• Provide ongoing policy service, reviews, and support to existing clients
• Ensure all sales activities comply with insurance regulations and company policies
• Participate in community and school events to build brand awareness
• Collaborate with internal teams to process applications and resolve issues
• Continually build product and industry knowledge through training and development
