Floor Technician

ABM, a leader in comprehensive facility solutions, is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and floor care excellence that ABM is known for across various client industries throughout the US. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment and chemicals to maintain and restore flooring, including but not limited to carpet, tile, and hardwood. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain industrial floor cleaning equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs of flooring surfaces.
• Use various chemicals and solutions according to safety standards.
• Assess floors for cleanliness and condition issues and develop upkeep schedules.
• Record and report completion of maintenance tasks.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations within the workplace.
