Lead Financial Reporting Analyst

Ameritas seeks a Lead Financial Reporting Analyst to own complex financial and regulatory reporting for its insurance and investment businesses. You'll prepare GAAP and statutory statements, design reporting models, and deliver clear analysis to senior leaders. Collaborating across Finance, Accounting, and business units, you'll ensure accuracy, enhance controls, and drive process improvements. Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reporting models, dashboards, and automated reporting tools
• Perform variance, trend, and root-cause analyses to explain financial performance and support leadership decisions
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and business units to consolidate results and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Support regulatory, statutory, and management reporting for insurance and investment products
• Prepare clear presentations and narratives for senior leadership and board-level reporting packages
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, controls, and documentation
• Assist with audits and examinations by providing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting analyses
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge sharing within the finance team
• Support special projects, system implementations, and ad hoc financial analysis requests
