ARS/Rescue Rooter is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems in customers' homes. In this field-based role, you'll perform troubleshooting, repairs, and tune-ups on furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps, ensuring safe, efficient operation and homeowner comfort. You'll explain findings and options clearly, deliver high-quality workmanship, and follow strict safety and code standards. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems
  • Perform start-ups, tune-ups, and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
  • Explain findings, options, and recommendations to homeowners clearly and professionally
  • Install or replace components such as motors, capacitors, compressors, and thermostats
  • Ensure all work complies with local codes, ARS/Rescue Rooter standards, and safety procedures
  • Accurately document work performed, parts used, and recommendations on service tickets
  • Operate company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Collaborate with dispatch, customer service, and sales teams to ensure timely, high-quality service
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold a customer-focused, safety-first culture
