HVAC Service Technician

Davis Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. You'll troubleshoot equipment, perform routine maintenance, make quality repairs, and recommend system improvements and replacements. Work directly with customers, explain findings and options, and ensure safe, code-compliant work. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on heating and cooling equipment
• Inspect systems for safety, code compliance, and performance issues
• Communicate findings, repair options, and recommendations to customers
• Prepare accurate service tickets and document work performed
• Install or replace thermostats, components, and minor system parts
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, safe condition
• Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices
• Participate in ongoing technical training and certifications
