Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A tractor-trailer on regional and long-haul routes hauling 100% no-touch freight
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects promptly
• Follow FMCSA/DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules using ELD systems
• Ensure safe, timely pickup and delivery of freight for major shippers
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations about load status and issues
• Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and required trip documentation
• Practice defensive driving and adhere to company safety policies at all times
• Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance when needed
• Protect company and customer property and ensure freight integrity
• Represent New Legend Inc professionally with customers and the public
