HVAC Service Technician

Glasco Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating, cooling, and indoor air quality systems. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, completing accurate service documentation, and delivering professional, customer-focused service in homes and small businesses. You'll work with a supportive, team-oriented crew, receive ongoing technical training, and follow strict safety and quality standards while participating in an emergency on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety checks on heating and cooling equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues using appropriate tools and meters.
• Explain findings, options, and recommendations to customers in a clear, professional manner.
• Complete accurate service tickets, documentation, and inventory usage in a timely manner.
• Follow all company safety policies, codes, and manufacturer specifications on every job.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency and after-hours service as needed.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and team members to schedule and prioritize daily service calls.
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and protect customer property during work.
• Pursue ongoing technical training and certifications to stay current with HVAC technologies.
