Regional Truck Driver

New Legend Inc, a family-owned regional and long-haul carrier based in Fresno, seeks Regional CDL-A Truck Drivers committed to safety and reliability. Responsibilities include safe operation of Class A tractors, on-time pickups and deliveries, accurate logs using ELDs, and professional customer service. You'll work closely with dispatch, follow DOT/FMCSA regulations, perform inspections, and secure freight. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on regional routes with frequent home time
• Transport freight for major shippers, ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
• Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures
• Secure loads properly and verify documentation, including bills of lading
• Use in-cab technology and ELDs to log hours and communicate with dispatch
• Maintain accurate trip, fuel, and mileage records for each haul
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers at all delivery locations
• Coordinate with dispatch and operations to resolve delays or route changes
• Care for assigned equipment, keeping tractor and trailer clean and road-ready
