HVAC Service Technician

Jackson Comfort Services is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to install, diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating, cooling, and indoor air quality systems across Northeast Ohio. You'll troubleshoot equipment, perform seasonal maintenance, and recommend solutions that improve comfort, safety, and energy efficiency. Working in a family-oriented, team-first culture, you'll follow safety standards, document service visits, communicate clearly with customers, and take pride in quality craftsmanship while receiving ongoing training and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform seasonal tune-ups and preventive maintenance on heating and cooling equipment.
• Install and configure thermostats and related comfort control devices.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues using proper tools and methods.
• Handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA and company standards.
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service tickets.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining findings and repair options.
• Follow all company, safety, and code requirements on every job.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, organized condition.
• Support teammates and participate in ongoing training and development.
