HVAC Installer

John Nugent & Sons, a family-owned HVAC and plumbing contractor in Northern Virginia, is seeking an HVAC Installer to join our team. In this field role, you will install residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems, ductwork, and related components to company and code standards. You'll work directly in customers' homes and businesses, ensuring clean, accurate installations, start-ups, and basic troubleshooting. Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, and accessories to code and company standards.
• Perform system start-ups, testing, and basic troubleshooting to ensure proper operation.
• Read and interpret plans, specs, and installation manuals to complete jobs accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in customers' homes and on job sites.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members about job status and recommendations.
• Load, unload, and secure materials, tools, and equipment for daily assignments.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies while working in the field.
• Document work performed and report any issues or additional needs to supervisors.
