Residential HVAC Service Technician

Auchinachie is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems in homes across the Binghamton, NY area. You'll diagnose issues, perform tune-ups, recommend solutions, and complete high-quality repairs while delivering a professional, customer-first experience. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, system tune-ups, and safety inspections
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely, professional solutions
• Explain repair options, system performance, and maintenance recommendations to homeowners
• Accurately document work performed, parts used, and system readings in service tickets
• Install replacement components such as motors, compressors, controls, and thermostats
• Ensure work complies with safety codes, company standards, and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean work area and protect customers' homes during and after service
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and team members
• Participate in ongoing technical and safety training provided by the company
