HVAC Service Technician

Central Cooling & Heating is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to support residential and light commercial customers across Greater Boston. In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini splits, and indoor air quality systems. You'll perform preventive maintenance, start ups, and system checks while educating customers on energy efficient solutions. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits.
• Perform preventive maintenance, start-ups, and seasonal tune-ups on heating and cooling equipment.
• Assess and service indoor air quality and ventilation systems for performance and safety.
• Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and energy-efficient comfort solutions.
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service tickets accurately.
• Follow all safety procedures, codes, and company standards while working on customer sites.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean, safe, and working condition.
• Collaborate with dispatch and office staff to manage daily schedules and customer communication.
