HVAC Repair Technician

ARS/Rescue Rooter is seeking an HVAC Repair Technician to service residential systems across the Memphis area. In this field-based role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps, ensuring safe, efficient home comfort for our customers. You'll respond to scheduled and emergency calls, explain repair options clearly, and complete accurate service documentation. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and safety checks on home HVAC equipment
• Install or replace components such as motors, capacitors, contactors, and thermostats
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and ARS/Rescue Rooter procedures
• Communicate findings, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners clearly
• Document work performed, parts used, and system status in service tickets
• Operate company vehicle safely and maintain tools and equipment in good condition
• Collaborate with dispatch and team members to meet schedule and customer needs
• Participate in ongoing technical and safety training offered by the company
