Regional CDL-A Truck Driver

New Legend Inc, a family-owned Fresno-based carrier, is hiring Regional CDL-A Truck Drivers. Haul freight for major shippers on predictable regional routes with regular home time. Drive late-model, well-maintained equipment with modern safety and navigation technology. Responsibilities include safe operation, on-time pickups and deliveries, accurate logs, and DOT-compliant inspections. You'll work closely with dispatch and customers, representing a safety-focused, respectful, and team-oriented culture while building a stable, long-term driving career.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A tractor-trailer on regional routes, ensuring safe and timely delivery of freight
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs
• Comply with DOT, company safety policies, and all federal and state regulations
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff
• Secure loads properly and verify freight against bills of lading
• Use onboard technology and routing tools to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
• Report maintenance needs promptly and keep equipment clean and road-ready
• Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and customer-focused service
