Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer on regional routes, ensuring safe and compliant driving at all times
• Complete on-time pick-up and delivery of freight for major shippers across assigned region
• Perform accurate pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations, including hours-of-service and load securement standards
• Maintain clear, professional communication with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff
• Use onboard technology and routing tools to optimize routes, fuel efficiency, and service performance
• Accurately manage logs, shipping documents, and electronic records as required
• Represent New Legend Inc with professionalism, courtesy, and strong customer service at docks and customer sites
• Care for assigned equipment, keeping tractor and trailer clean, organized, and road-ready
• Participate in ongoing safety meetings, trainings, and performance reviews to continuously improve
