HVAC Installer

Sila Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electric seeks an HVAC Installer to perform residential and light commercial installs of heating and cooling systems. You'll remove and replace equipment, run refrigerant lines and ductwork, braze and connect electrical, start up and test systems, and explain operation to customers. Follow strict safety and code requirements, maintain clean work areas, and complete accurate documentation. Work closely with a professional, customer-focused team with strong training and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers.
• Remove and replace existing equipment, run and seal ductwork, and install refrigerant and condensate lines.
• Perform brazing, soldering, and basic electrical connections to manufacturer and code standards.
• Conduct system start-up, testing, and commissioning to verify safe and efficient operation.
• Follow all safety protocols, codes, and company standards while working in customers' homes.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and protect customer property during installations.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about work performed, system operation, and basic maintenance.
• Complete required documentation, including installation forms, checklists, and photos in company systems.
• Collaborate with dispatchers, installers, and service technicians to ensure timely, quality project completion.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on equipment, codes, and best practices.
