Residential HVAC Service Technician

Sila Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electric is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems in customers' homes. You'll perform troubleshooting, tune-ups, and installations while ensuring safety, code compliance, and clear communication with homeowners. Work with modern tools, receive ongoing training, and follow a customer-first, professional approach. Collaborate with a supportive team, complete detailed service documentation, and help deliver reliable, energy-efficient comfort across our Northeastern service area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, tune-ups, and system efficiency checks
• Install or replace HVAC components, including thermostats and controls
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and local codes
• Communicate findings, options, and pricing clearly to homeowners
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service software
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in safe working order
• Collaborate with dispatch and team members to manage daily schedule
• Participate in ongoing technical and safety training
• Promote a customer-first, professional, and respectful in-home service experience
