Refrigeration Technician

Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. seeks a Refrigeration Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems in a high-volume food manufacturing facility. You will perform preventive maintenance on compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls, respond quickly to equipment alarms and breakdowns, and help ensure safe, efficient operation that protects product quality. Working in a fast-paced, safety-focused, team environment, you'll follow strict GMP and ammonia-handling procedures while supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems to minimize downtime.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on compressors, condensers, evaporators, and related equipment.
• Monitor system performance, pressures, temperatures, and controls, making adjustments as needed.
• Respond to equipment alarms and breakdowns to support continuous food production.
• Maintain accurate service logs, work orders, and parts usage in maintenance systems.
• Follow all safety, ammonia handling, and lockout/tagout procedures and GMP requirements.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to plan repairs and system upgrades.
• Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new or upgraded refrigeration equipment.
