Drain and Sewer Installer

Carter's Plumbing is seeking a Drain and Sewer Installer to join our growing team in Bloomfield Hills, MI. In this role, you'll install, repair, and replace residential and light commercial drain and sewer lines, operate drain cleaning and inspection equipment, and troubleshoot backups and leaks. You'll interact directly with customers, explain findings, and provide professional, respectful service. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace residential and light commercial drain and sewer lines
• Operate drain cleaning machines, sewer cameras, and locating equipment
• Diagnose blockages, breaks, and leaks in drain and sewer systems
• Perform basic excavation, trenching, backfilling, and site restoration
• Read and follow work orders, utility markings, and basic site plans
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in clean, safe working condition
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies
• Communicate clearly with customers about issues, options, and work performed
• Work collaboratively with technicians and apprentices to complete jobs efficiently
