Produce Clerk

As a Produce Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market, you'll keep our fresh fruits and vegetables fully stocked, attractively merchandised, and food-safe. You'll rotate inventory, check quality, trim and package items, and maintain clean, organized displays. You'll assist customers with selections, answer questions about organic and seasonal produce, and support overall store operations in a fast-paced, team-focused environment built around healthy living and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and replenish fresh produce using FIFO standards
• Monitor quality, freshness, and food safety; remove unsellable items
• Set and maintain attractive, organized produce displays and signage
• Trim, package, and label produce accurately by weight and price
• Provide friendly, informed customer service and product guidance
• Maintain cleanliness of produce cases, prep areas, and equipment
• Assist with inventory counts and backroom organization
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Collaborate with team members to meet department goals
• Lift, move, and position product and cases as needed during shifts
