Meat/Seafood Clerk

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a friendly Meat/Seafood Clerk to support our Retail Operations team. In this role, you'll prepare, package, and merchandise fresh meat and seafood while following strict food safety and sanitation standards. You'll assist customers with product selection, cooking tips, and special orders, ensuring a positive, health-focused shopping experience. Responsibilities include stocking, rotating, and labeling products; maintaining clean cases, tools, and work areas; monitoring temperatures; and supporting inventory and shrink control. Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, informed customer service at the meat and seafood counter
• Cut, trim, portion, and package meat and seafood to specifications
• Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and temperature control at all times
• Stock, rotate, and label products, following FIFO standards
• Set and maintain attractive, clean meat and seafood displays
• Operate scales, wrap machines, and labeling equipment accurately
• Assist with inventory counts, shrink control, and product ordering support
• Follow all company, health department, and safety policies and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of cases, tools, and work areas throughout the shift
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, health-focused store culture
