Deli Manager

As an Assistant Deli Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market, you'll help lead daily deli operations within our Food & Beverage Operations team. You'll support the Deli Manager in supervising team members, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and delivering exceptional, friendly service. Responsibilities include preparing and merchandising fresh deli items, managing inventory and shrink, assisting with scheduling and training, and ensuring a clean, organized department. Responsibilities

• Assist Deli Manager in daily deli operations and department leadership
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and quality standards are consistently met
• Prepare, slice, and package deli meats, cheeses, and prepared foods
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and product suggestions
• Train, coach, and direct deli team members during shifts
• Help manage inventory, ordering, and shrink control
• Set and maintain attractive product displays and signage
• Support scheduling, task delegation, and performance feedback
• Monitor equipment, temperatures, and compliance with company policies
• Promote Sprouts' focus on healthy living, sustainability, and community
