Bakery Clerk

As a Bakery Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market, you'll deliver friendly, knowledgeable service while preparing, packaging, and merchandising fresh baked goods. You will stock cases, rotate and label products, maintain clean, food-safe work areas, and assist customers with product selection and special orders. Working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, you'll support Sprouts' commitment to healthy, high-quality foods, learn about natural and organic bakery items, and help create an inviting, well-stocked bakery department.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with bakery product selection and questions
• Prepare, slice, package, and label baked goods according to standards
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise bakery displays to ensure freshness and appeal
• Operate scales, wrappers, and POS systems accurately and safely
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen-handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of bakery cases, equipment, and work areas
• Monitor product quality, shelf life, and inventory levels
• Support special orders and promotional displays
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and service goals
