Responsibilities

• Operate various types of transit buses in transit service
• Ensure safe and timely transportation of passengers following specified routes
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations and safety guidelines
• Inspect bus and equipment pre- and post-trip to ensure safe operating condition
• Interact professionally with passengers and provide information as needed
• Handle passenger emergencies or incidents in a calm and safe manner
• Complete reports and documentation concerning route details, incidents, and maintenance issues
