Color Mixer

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Color Mixer to join our Manufacturing & Production team. In this role, you will accurately mix, tint, and label paint products to meet precise color standards, supporting both manufacturing and retail needs. You will operate tinting and mixing equipment, follow batch formulas, perform basic quality checks, and maintain detailed production records. The Color Mixer ensures a clean, safe work area, follows all safety and environmental procedures, and collaborates with team members to meet production schedules and quality goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately mix and tint paints according to formulas and color standards
• Operate and maintain mixing, tinting, and shaking equipment
• Perform basic quality checks for color accuracy, viscosity, and appearance
• Label, package, and stage finished product for manufacturing or retail orders
• Read and interpret batch tickets, work orders, and safety data sheets (SDS)
• Maintain clean, organized work area and properly handle waste materials
• Follow all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements
• Monitor inventory of colorants and raw materials and report shortages
• Collaborate with production and retail teams to meet scheduling needs
• Document production data and report equipment or quality issues promptly
