Production Assistant

As an Assistant Produce Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market, you'll help lead daily operations in our produce department, ensuring fresh, well-stocked, and visually appealing displays that reflect our commitment to natural and organic foods. You'll support ordering, inventory rotation, and shrink control while upholding food safety and sanitation standards. Working side by side with the Produce Manager, you'll coach and guide team members, provide exceptional customer service, and share your knowledge of fruits, vegetables, and seasonal offerings. Responsibilities

• Support Produce Manager with daily operations, merchandising, and team direction
• Maintain fresh, appealing produce displays aligned with Sprouts standards
• Monitor quality, rotate stock, and minimize shrink through accurate ordering
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and compliance with store policies
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service on produce selection and use
• Assist with training, coaching, and scheduling of produce team members
• Track inventory levels and support weekly counts and adjustments
• Collaborate with other departments for promotions and cross-merchandising
• Operate equipment safely, including pallet jacks, cutters, and wrapping tools
