Retail Paint Store Associate

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Retail Paint Store Associate to deliver exceptional service to contractors and DIY customers in a fast-paced store environment. In this role, you'll greet customers, assess project needs, recommend paints, coatings and supplies, and accurately tint and mix colors. You'll process sales, manage inventory, and help load orders safely for pickup or delivery. Responsibilities

• Greet and assist retail and professional customers, identifying project needs and recommending appropriate products
• Operate tinting and color-matching equipment to mix paints accurately to customer specifications
• Process sales transactions, returns and special orders using POS systems and accurate cash handling
• Maintain store merchandising, stock shelves and manage backroom inventory and cycle counts
• Stage, load and help unload customer orders and deliveries while following safe lifting practices
• Follow all Sherwin-Williams and OSHA safety procedures, including handling of chemicals and materials
• Support account and store sales goals through add-on recommendations and promotional awareness
• Participate in training on products, systems, safety and customer service to build expertise
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, store cleanliness and visual standards
• Collaborate with team members and management to ensure excellent customer experience and efficient operations
