Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to deliver goods and freight across various distances.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Manage routes and routines to proceed in the most efficient way possible.
• Maintain logs of work/rest periods, miles driven, fuel consumption, and cargo and communicate this information as per federal and state regulations.
• Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs, report incidents to dispatchers or company mechanics.
• Handle unforeseen circumstances like traffic, weather conditions, and mechanical failures with composure and efficiency.

Required Skills
