Associate Director Government Affairs

Lundbeck seeks an Associate Director Government Affairs to advance neuroscience policy priorities at federal and state levels. This role develops and executes advocacy strategies, builds relationships with policymakers and patient groups, and monitors legislation affecting brain health therapies. The leader will collaborate with Market Access, Medical, and Public Affairs to shape Lundbeck's policy positions, support issue campaigns, and represent the company at industry coalitions. The position requires strong policy expertise, strategic communication, and alignment with Lundbeck's patient-focused mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute federal and state government affairs strategies that support Lundbeck's neuroscience portfolio and patient-focused mission.
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate the impact of legislation and regulations affecting brain health therapies and market access.
• Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, trade associations, and patient advocacy organizations.
• Craft policy positions, issue briefs, and advocacy materials for internal leaders and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Legal, and Public Affairs to ensure aligned policy and advocacy priorities.
• Represent Lundbeck in industry coalitions, hearings, and external forums on neuroscience and brain health issues.
• Support internal education on policy trends and their implications for Lundbeck's U.
• S. business.
• Guide external consultants and lobbyists to ensure consistent, compliant advocacy efforts.
