Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A tractor-trailer for regional and long-haul routes
• Transport freight safely and deliver loads on time
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and required documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations team
• Secure and handle freight per customer and company standards
• Report equipment issues promptly for maintenance
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers
• Follow company policies supporting a safety-focused culture

Required Skills

• CDL-A tractor-trailer operation
• Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting
• Electronic Logging Device (ELD) use
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Trip planning and time management
• Freight securement (van/reefer/flatbed as applicable)
• Defensive driving and accident avoidance
