Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A tractor trailer for regional and long haul routes
• Transport freight on time while complying with DOT and company safety regulations
• Conduct thorough pre trip and post trip inspections of equipment
• Secure and handle freight according to customer and company standards
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and required trip documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations
• Adhere to route plans while adjusting to traffic, weather, and road conditions
• Care for and report maintenance needs on assigned tractor and trailer
• Represent Trans
• Land professionally with customers and the public
• Follow all company policies, including safety and hours of service guidelines
