CDL A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor trailer for regional and long haul routes
• Transport freight on time while complying with DOT and company safety rules
• Perform pre trip, en route, and post trip inspections on equipment
• Use ELD and maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and delivery paperwork
• Communicate with dispatch, operations, and customers professionally
• Secure loads as required and verify freight counts and condition
• Adhere to route plans, HOS regulations, and fuel/route optimization guidelines
• Report maintenance needs and keep equipment clean and well kept
• Follow company policies for safety, compliance, and customer service
• Represent Trans
• Land with professionalism on the road and at customer sites
