Flatbed Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A flatbed trucks on regional and OTR routes
• Secure and tarp flatbed loads per company and DOT standards
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Comply with FMCSA hours-of-service and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate logs and required delivery documentation
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and yard staff
• Inspect and care for equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly
• Adhere to company safety policies and participate in safety meetings
• Plan routes to ensure on-time, efficient deliveries
• Represent Contrans Flatbed USA with professionalism on the road
