CDL A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A tractor trailer to haul flatbed freight safely and efficiently
• Secure and tarp loads per company and DOT regulations
• Conduct pre trip, en route, and post trip inspections of truck and trailer
• Maintain compliance with DOT hours of service and all safety policies
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status
• Complete required logs, ELD entries, and delivery documentation accurately
• Adhere to customer service standards at pickup and delivery locations
• Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly
