Concrete Mixer Driver

Auburn Concrete Company, a leader in the construction industry in Maine, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Concrete Mixer Driver to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of concrete mixing trucks, delivering high-quality concrete to various project sites across residential and commercial sectors. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of our products while ensuring timely delivery to our valued clients.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate concrete mixer trucks and transport ready-mix concrete to job sites.
• Inspect mixes, machinery, and truck to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to clarify job specifications and delivery details.
• Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of the mixer truck after delivery.
• Collaborate with the project management team and clients at delivery sites to ensure proper handling and placement of concrete.
• Manage logs and maintenance records in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations.

Required Skills

• Proficient in operating heavy vehicles and concrete mixer equipment
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and maintenance requirements
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local routes
• Ability to perform physical tasks and operate machinery safely
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
