Gastroenterologist

CompHealth is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a hospital-based practice, focusing exclusively on adult patients. This role offers a structured schedule with no weekend clinic coverage and a manageable patient load. The position requires proficiency in upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsy.

Practice Info

• 100% hospital-based gastroenterology practice
• 100% adult patients no pediatric or neonate cases
• 16 scheduled office/clinic patients per physician per day

Responsibilities

• Perform upper GI endoscopy
• Perform colonoscopy with biopsy

Compensation

• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly

Shift & Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5 pm no weekend clinic coverage
• Call schedule: 1st and 3rd weekends low callback rate

Requirements

• Upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy with biopsy required
• ERCP, EUS, PEG placement, and liver biopsy preferred
• IBD training or certification preferred
