Truck Driver CDL Class A Regional

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes following Ryder safety and DOT regulations
• Transport freight between warehouses, distribution centers, and customer sites on scheduled runs
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, report defects, and maintain accurate vehicle logs
• Secure, load, and unload freight while protecting product quality and minimizing damage
• Use on-board technology and routing tools to optimize routes and meet on-time delivery targets
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams to resolve issues
• Comply with hours-of-service, company policies, and documentation requirements
• Support a safety-first culture by following best practices and reporting incidents or hazards
• Assist with basic equipment care, fueling, and cleanliness of assigned vehicle
• Represent Ryder with professional conduct, appearance, and customer service
