Flatbed Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul freight
• Secure, tarp, and inspect flatbed loads to safety standards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and DOT-compliant documentation
• Plan efficient routes and manage on-time pick-up and delivery
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and shop staff
• Follow all FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies
• Report maintenance needs and coordinate with shop for repairs
• Protect freight integrity and minimize cargo damage
• Represent Koch Trucking's driver-centric culture on the road
